EQ Renew is pleased to announce it has successfully shipped and installed its 50th customer owned lift for a major water/utility district in the Washington DC area. This is the last in a series of 5 lifts we rebuilt for this customer and all lifts are Generation I, Model 50/25 surface mounted.
This customer purchased a new lift from an overseas vendor a few years ago, and decided rebuilding their remaining lifts was in their best interest for the long term. You can understand the logic in their decision, the original version of these lifts lasted more than 25 years. Since Generation I lifts are built like old equipment, heavy and overbuilt, they can reasonably expect another 25 years of dependable service.
